And all this in the wonderful setting of Castrovillari, a Calabrian municipality surrounded entirely by the Pollino chain.

i-Fest ® International Film Festival is an international event that proposes Cinema and New Technologies with enthusiasm and a careful look towards the future.
The 2020 edition took place in some of the most beautiful locations in Calabria from 13 to 20 September.
In 2021 i-Fest ® will take place from September 9th to 19th .
Events, Italian and international guests, screenings, previews, retrospectives, workshops , masterclasses , contests , digital experiences , VR , multimedia exhibitions.
Cinema, expressed in its broadest and most varied forms, takes on the role of an incredible and essential driving force of culture, dissemination, knowledge, experimentation, inspiration, creative production and at the same time represents an important tool for incoming tourism.
Goals:
the diffusion of Italian and foreign cinematographic culture in its multiple perspectives, expressive forms and different genres through both an analytical and experimental approach, with an innovative, dynamic, stimulating character and always attentive to the use of the most modern digital languages; the creation of intercultural synergies with foreign cinematographic realities; the dissemination of the "Cinema professions" with an important didactic and educational activity; the involvement of new and promising talents from the national and international cinematographic context; the involvement of cultural, commercial and technical partners with whom to share missions, ideas and programs thanks to careful communication strategies, precise production synergies and the creation of interconnected networks that encourage the circulation of content; the presentation of the most modern technologies and entertainment platforms with a rich proposal of immersive, digital and multimedia audiovisual experiences ( i-Fest LAB : digital exhibitions, VR, Live Experience ); the valorisation of the territory and its innumerable and precious resources; the increase in film tourism through numerous collateral events.
